The community of Galt is to the south of Elk Grove and is still located in Sacramento County, to the east of Elk Grove is the community of Wilton which consists of ranches, ranchettes, agricultural land and is popular with homeowners with horses.  One of the popular subdivisions in Wilton is The Ranch which was built by new home builder JTS homes and is very popular with horse owners.

Condos

Elk Grove has several condominium complexes including Jasmine by new home builder Pacific West Housing, Boardwalk which was built by US Homes, Somerfield which was an apartment condo conversion and Laguna Oaks which was also an apartment condo conversion, you can find links to all of these complexes on our home page.  Laguna Pointe is located in Sheldon Rd and was built by new home builder DR Horton.  The one thing about Sheldon Road is the land north of Sheldon Rd which shows as zip code 95758 and Elk Grove is actually City of Sacramento land and is subject to transfer taxes and other City of Sacramento issues.

Single Family Residences

Multi Family

Elk Grove does not have a large inventory of multi family residential but its existing home base consists of duplexes, fourplexes and some garden style apartment units.

New Home builder Del Webb & Pulte Homes has a community in Elk Grove, these retirement communities are for homeowners 55 and above.

Lending Programs

Common lending programs for Elk Grove real estate include FHA, Conventional Loans, USDA (more in the Galt area) and of course cash.  Seller financing and/or carryback is not a typical financing method in Elk Grove.
